Long time didn't write anything about the camp, didn't even respond to emails and forum... although emails have been flying around like mad after the camp... a lot of follow-up also and seems like the excitement lasts quite a while...
For me, nothing to write doesn't mean nothing happened to me... in fact so much has taken place since the preparation started until the camp ended, and even after the camp... I think nearly all aspects of my life has been affected by the camp and by my work... some positive and some negative...
Been taking some time to think a bit the past few days. Must start to inject some "passion for life" back into my life. It has been so dull, work was first and INCOVAR was second and that's it, nothing else. I looked back at some of the things I wrote long ago, what I did and what I said I like... was that really me?
I said I like to read, but how much do I really read nowadays?
I said I like origami and crafts like making friendship bands, origami boxes... I haven't touched those things for ages and all the materials are covered with dust.
I also like playing piano and I think I have been playing the piano for two hours on average, PER MONTH.
I also said I like travelling... this is the greatest joke of all... I haven't been on a decent trip for ages since I started working...
I really wonder what have I been doing... was my work really that important that I reserve all my energy for it, and on weekends try to slot in some time for the camp preparation... how lifeless my life has been...
Ahh... as for the camp itself... I must admit it has been great despite all the stress and "small little quarrels"... Most creative camp I ever attended... a lot of home productions from T-shirts qualified for fashion shows and sketches and musical presentations... never mind if they're more animal-like than humans at times... hehe... "INCOVAR, we inspire"... INCOVARians really live up to the motto... :)
And well, the IXP-like-effect from INCOVAR took place quite late, in my own case... let me see... about 2 weeks after the camp only I start to think about this lifeless life and how to bring more life into my life? (Apologies for repeating "life" so many times but I must remind myself to start living, stop whining... hmm... a motto from from the 23rd camp if I'm not mistaken...)
A lot of hard work... going back to office tomorrow... should clear my table first thing in the morning before I clear my work and the clutters in my life...
I have a few very important people to thank for bringing me back... well, I'll thank these people personally, hmm, must make time for it too... :)

Turtle
"Imagine that the whole earth was covered with water, and a man was to throw a yoke with a hole in it into the water. Blown by the wind, that yoke would drift north, south, east and west. Now, suppose that once in hundred years a blind turtle would rise to the surface. What do you think? Would that turtle put his head through the hole in the yoke as he rose to the surface once in a hundred years?"
"It is unlikely Lord."
"Well, it is just as unlikely that one will be born as a human being; it is just unlikely that a Tathagata, a Noble One, a fully enlightened Buddha should arise in the world; and it is just as unlikely that the Dhamma and discipline of the Tathagata should be taught. But now you have been born as a human being, a Tathagata has arisen and the Dhamma has been taught. Therefore, strive to realize the Four Noble Truths."

my first megasales
It's certainly not Malaysia's first megasales but it is my first... first time joining the crowd on the first weekend itself... and actually spend one and a half days just to shop in one shopping mall...
But even second day of megasales is not good enough. I went on Sat and presales started on Fri. Couldn't find my shoe size for that 50% discount items, had go choose 30% discount... and there were so many people queueing up to try on clothes... so I went early on Sunday, and managed to spend hours in the fitting room before the crowd starts to come in... hehe... but I'm broke now... :(
Maybe I should exercise more cause now my body is actually aching after walking and trying on clothes? Oh... this is also the second time I can ask for a "smaller size" than what I have in hand... finally Malaysia has a few of these shops catering for larger sized women like me...
Seems like I'm excited to shop... something which I never really liked last time... well, maybe it's now straight from my own account, and I haven't been spending too much in the past year, so it still feels ok to spend a bit...
