At 9am, only me and my colleague who's a temp staff is here. The others will come in soon, and they'll stay till after office hours, so that will make up for the slight lateness in reaching the office.
Feeling lazy, and have been drinking coffee everyday. My health must be deteriorating. Can't drink more than one cup of coffee per day, or my hands will kind of start trembling. At first I thought my fingers tremble because I'm hungry, but food doesn't seem to help, rather, the thought of hunger made me eat more. Until my mum asked me how many cups of coffee I took in the office.
There was this question raised in the previous IDAS camp, health or wisdom is the most important, and why? There were other things to choose from as well, but my group was clearly down to these two options only and we can't agree on it. I argued that wisdom is the most important, though I didn't say that those who thought that health is the most important were wrong in their views.
However, there was a particular guy who insisted that health is the most important. Maybe at this point of time I would agree with him. Because feeling unwell doesn't help at all, wisdom just can't prevail! On the other hand, there's another piece of advice, let the body be unwell but not the mind.
I'm not reaching that level yet, my mind and body are still interdependent, hmm... this gives me something to think about... the idea of separating the body from the mind, or the mind from the body... MJ, you know what I am thinking about for our IDAS camp?

Turtle
"Imagine that the whole earth was covered with water, and a man was to throw a yoke with a hole in it into the water. Blown by the wind, that yoke would drift north, south, east and west. Now, suppose that once in hundred years a blind turtle would rise to the surface. What do you think? Would that turtle put his head through the hole in the yoke as he rose to the surface once in a hundred years?"
"It is unlikely Lord."
"Well, it is just as unlikely that one will be born as a human being; it is just unlikely that a Tathagata, a Noble One, a fully enlightened Buddha should arise in the world; and it is just as unlikely that the Dhamma and discipline of the Tathagata should be taught. But now you have been born as a human being, a Tathagata has arisen and the Dhamma has been taught. Therefore, strive to realize the Four Noble Truths."

WHAT?!! -- perfect melancholy?! me blur..
Anyway... i choose wisdom lor... health, as long as it doesnt cost more than what I cud afford to cure it. AND prevention is better than cure. Choii.. touchwood, i seldom fall sick. So never occured to me how valuable is "health"... the hyperthyroid thingy doesn't even qualify as "sickness" to me, just hormones imbalance, and stirr me to be super hyper, meaning i dun get tired easily.
something to integrate into the concept and theme of the next IDAS.. whether or not it will work... you got lots of energy in you? that's why u r always up to something? hehe...
