Turtle

"Imagine that the whole earth was covered with water, and a man was to throw a yoke with a hole in it into the water. Blown by the wind, that yoke would drift north, south, east and west. Now, suppose that once in hundred years a blind turtle would rise to the surface. What do you think? Would that turtle put his head through the hole in the yoke as he rose to the surface once in a hundred years?"

"It is unlikely Lord."

"Well, it is just as unlikely that one will be born as a human being; it is just unlikely that a Tathagata, a Noble One, a fully enlightened Buddha should arise in the world; and it is just as unlikely that the Dhamma and discipline of the Tathagata should be taught. But now you have been born as a human being, a Tathagata has arisen and the Dhamma has been taught. Therefore, strive to realize the Four Noble Truths."

It's the weekend!

Yeah... feeling good after sleeping the whole day!!

I'm using the floppy diskette again, the 3 1/2 inch diskette I' haven't been touching for a long time, all because my PC at work doesn't have a USB drive... so back to the old and conventional (not so conventional now) 3 1/2 inch floppy disk.

Yesterday my parents were stuck in the jam for 2 hours to pick me up from work... 7pm to 9pm for to and fro journey from Cheras Leisure Mall to Phileo Damansanra. And I've been staying back late till 7pm for three days last week.. wonder if I'll stay back even more in the weeks to come.

Halfway through my contract, and I'm somehow kinda hoping I get another offer, though not really sure want to take that or not.. but current job getting a bit routine already... operational kind of things... erm... not that I don't like it, just that I don't really love it either...
